The Ibero-Latin American Congress on Computational Methods in Engineering (CILAMCE) is an international scientific event promoted by the Brazilian Association of Computational Methods in Engineering (ABMEC). Since its inception in 1977, CILAMCE has drawn the attention of engineers and scientists from academia, government and industry. The congress has become an important forum to discuss the latest advancements in computational methods for the solution of scientific and engineering problems. CILAMCE is annually held in Brazil or abroad, usually in the month of November. It includes mini-symposia with contributed papers, special invited plenary speakers, and undergraduate students competitions.
