CILAMCE 2025

Instructions for Authors

All presentations of XLVI CILAMCE will be carried out orally, except for papers approved for the Research Beginners Mini-Symposium, which will be presented in e-poster format. Those who applied for the Agustin Ferrante Award will also present orally.

Please follow the specific instructions below:

  • Mini Symposia and contributions selected for Agustín Ferrante Award

Each presentation will be assigned a time slot of 15 minutes, which shall be subdivided as follows:

– 12 minutes for the presentation itself (including conclusions);
– 3 minutes for questions and switching (changing presentation file and/or computer, announcement by chair, etc.).

 The Speaker Ready room will be available. Proceed to this room to upload your slides up to 3 hours prior to the start of the session. Please check that everything works fine with your slides. Do not leave it for the last minute, as to avoid surprises (occasional problems will impact on the author´s time assigned to his/her presentation).

In order to ensure that each speaker has equal time to present his/her paper, the session chairpersons will rigidly enforce the time allocated to the presentations.

 All slides must be in English. We also strongly recommend the oral presentation to be carried in English. Template for Oral Presentations will be available soon.

 All session rooms will be equipped with one laptop computer with Microsoft Windows and Adobe Reader, as well as a projector and screen. Authors are strongly encouraged to use the provided computers for their presentations.

  • Research Beginners Mini-Symposium

This MS will be developed through e-poster sessions. The e-posters will be available throughout the congress. During the 30-minute breaks, the author is expected to be available to present the content and discuss the topic with the audience.

The author must send the e-poster in PDF via email to submission@cilamce.com.br by November 17, 2025.

E-poster content must be in English. We also strongly recommend the oral presentation to be carried in English.  Template Poster Presentation will be available soon

GENERAL INFORMATION

Committing to these guidelines is extremely important in order to keep the overall presentation schedule, as well as to avoid technical issues.

No-shows will be treated as an empty presentation slot, i.e., there will be no presentations at the respective time slot (the subsequent presentations will not be shifted up).

AT THE DAY OF YOUR PRESENTATION, 10 minutes before the start of your session, meet the session chairs and your fellow presenters in your assigned session room. This will allow you to check your slides or e-poster, learn how to operate the audiovisual equipment, and be advised of the plan for time keeping.
